How to Install and Use TectumKeys

Welcome to TectumKeys — hardware-based entropy. Built to withstand quantum brute-force attacks.

This guide will assist you in installing the software. TectumKeys generates random private keys using nature-produced entropy arrays. A private key created in our software can be used to generate wallets across different systems. For example, one key can create Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tectum wallets. This feature allows TectumKey users to access multiple blockchain networks with a single private key. One key, endless possibilities—Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tectum, Solana, and more, all without the need for separate credentials. Let’s get started.

1. Go to the official TectumKeys website and download the software.

1. A .zip file will be downloaded to your computer. Open the file to begin installation.

1. The installer will launch — click the Install button.

1. Once installation is complete, click Launch TectumKeys.

1. Create a strong password. It must be at least 8 characters long, include both uppercase and lowercase Latin letters, and contain at least one special character. TectumKeys is now ready to use.

Upon your next login, the software will ask for your password. The interface will be empty, and to start using the TectumKeys again, you must paste your private key into the input field.

1. Click the Generate Tempest Standard Private Key button.

1. Then, click OK to confirm.

1. Your private key has been successfully generated. Make sure to save it securely — without it, you won’t be able to access your funds.

1. The generated private key is universal, meaning you can select any supported network.

1. You can also view all wallet addresses linked to this private key.

1. Click Check Balance to view the balance of your selected network and token.You can also send funds to other users directly from the software.

1. Customize your token display by clicking Import Tokens and selecting the ones you want with a simple checkbox.

1. You can also add your own token by providing a smart contract address.

1. To save your private key locally, click Save to File and confirm that you understand the potential security implications.

1. Create a secure password and choose a storage location for your file.

1. The file has been successfully saved. Please be aware that you are responsible for its protection.
